Club diary - November 2011

Normal gaming for most evenings this month:

The party game on the 28th will be Pete Merritt's Lord of the Rings extravaganza... see the SELWG pictures for an idea of the scope.

And of course, the deadline for the 40k tournament 5th round games is the 28th November. Stick to it and it'll all be over by Christmas :)

Club painting competition - Sept 2011 (part 3)

The final category was the widest of all - the 'Open' category for anything that had been painted in the last three months.

Club painting competition - Sept 2011 (part 2)

Every quarter we have a painting competition down the club; the only prize is that you get to choose the next quarter's theme. There were three categories this time - the historical, the fantasy/SF and the open. I just thought I'd upload some more pictures while I wait for the rugby - I'm a patriotic Englishman, but supporting Wales as the sole home nation interest now.

Club diary - October 2011

Normal gaming for most evenings this month, but a couple of things members should know about:

17th October - scenery evening. The club won't be open for gaming tonight as it's the annual scenery inventory and refurbishment. But there will be pizza (if you sign up in advance so Dave knows how many to order...)

24th October - Paul D will be running a Space Hulk party game over the fantastic 3D scenery he's spent the summer painting up! Sign up with Paul to get a place at the table.

And finally, the deadline for the 40k tournament 4th round games is the 17th October, so you had better get your skates on and get the results to Paul.
