WAMP Awards 2011

We here at the South London Warlords would like to thank WAMP (the Wargames and Miniatures Forum) for voting Salute the best event of 2011. It's fantastic that such a great bunch of painters have seen fit to honour us like this, and we hope that we see you at Salute 2012. When you look at the shortlist, there are some fantastic shows there, and we're extremely chuffed here at the club. Thank you!

We’re ready to sponsor return air fare to the worthy winner of Salute 2011 painting competition to Crystal Brush 2012. They don’t have to compete at the CB 2012 (it’d be a bit odd not to after travelling all that way), but the prize is not transferable. Closer to the date of CB2012, the prize winner finds out the price of the ticket and we reimburse them*  - Chern An Ng, Director of www.coolminiornot.com

*This is due to airline restrictions mandating the person who paid for the ticket having to be present at the point of departure

Salute wins Gold!

WAMP (http://www.wamp-forum.com/), the online miniature painters' forum, has awarded Salute it's gold medal for best event in the Wamp Awards 2010.

Thanks guys, it takes a whole lotta time to organise and it's good to know that people still get a kick out of attending.
