Hammers Slammers across the web

As you may know, Hammers Slammers: The Crucible was jointly written by club member John Treadaway, and a group of Warlords have been taking a couple of quite outstanding tables round the show scene in the last couple of months.

I'm very pleased to see that Dropship Horizon is back with a new crew, and they have given the game some coverage here - http://dropshiphorizon.blogspot.com/2011/06/south-london-warlords-15mm-hammers.html

Many thanks...

Salute 2011 in pictures

For those of you who are missing the bustle, excitement and the thunderous sound of hundreds of dice rolling that all made up Salute 2011, here's a little reprise. Our friends at RHQ-TV have posted up a couple of podcasts from the show. These include visuals of the gorgeous terrain and miniatures as well as interviews with famous and infamour individuals.

Episode 31a - includes views of the amazing Gallipoli battlefield

Episode 31b - more footage of the show and an interview with Mike McVey

Thanks to Andrew Galea for his efforts and endurance!

Another photo-walkthrough of the games taking place at the club this week...

Starting with a picture across the whole hall - that's me on the right with the extremely vile Guantanamo orange t-shirt. 60th Anniversary shirt from my scout group - now imagine a family camp with 140 people in t-shirts that colour...

3D Space Hulk

PaD has been very busy cutting the club's plastic corridors off the sprue and painting like mad; he's now finished enough to play all the missions from the rule-book. His next task is to create some larger rooms...
